Bill Appleton is a programmer with a long history in the games industry. He originally started making Macintosh games on his own, such as
Creepy Castle (1991), until he met a number of people with whom he founded the studio
Cyberflix based in Knoxville (USA) and active between 1993 and 1999. Known for its interactive movies, the studio relied almost entirely on the DreamFactory technology Bill designed to power the games. He announced to leave the company in November 1998.
