Developer Biography

Peter's first professional Games Job was with VIS entertainment, working as a Map Designer. He soon became Lead Game Designer on Earthworm Jim 3D (N64, Interplay). Followed this with idea to turn Tom and Jerry license into 3D fighting game. Tom and Jerry: Fists of Furry (N64, PC, Ubisoft) was the result- the first time the cartoon duo were ever rendered in the third dimension.

Peter then had a 6 month period as Design Consultant on State of Emergency (PS2, Xbox, Rockstar), where he helped to redesign core gameplay, camera systems, and arcade game design. Thanks to some great marketing, game debuted at number 1 in USA and Europe and sold over 1.6M units.

At the same time Peter was working on Brave: The Search for Spirit Dancer (PS2, SCEE)- and worked on the design of this original game from first concepts through to Gold Master. When VIS went bust, Peter went to DC Studios, which lasted a year before they went into liquidation.

Peter is currently Creative Director at Firebrand Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
