Orpheus Hanley's worked in the Gaming Industry since 1990. He started his career at Sierra On-Line forging sound designs for such games as Hoyle Classic Card Games, King's Quest VI, Lost Secret of the Rainforest, Pepper's Adventures in Time, Slater & Charlie Go Camping, King's Quest V, The Dagger of Amon Ra, The Island of Dr. Brain, EcoQuest: The Search for Cetus, King's Quest IV, Leisure Suit Larry, Space Quest IV: Roger Wilco, The Legend of Robin Hood, and Mother Goose. Gabriel Knight was the last game he worked on at Sierra On-Line, creating both SFX and music.

Orpheus Hanley continued his career at Midway Home Entertainment helping to create the Hydro Thunder Arcade game and the Ready 2 Rumble franchise as Sound Designer / Composer. The characters Afro Thunder and G.C. Thunder are based around his image and personality. Orpheus developed not only the sound design, scripting, and music for these and other characters, he developed their personalities. He toured the US, Europe, Italy, and Paris as Afro Thunder, promoting the game for Midway. It is said that sales dramatically increased for the game after his appearances abroad.

Orpheus Hanley is a dedicated hard worker and talented Sound Designer / Musician. He continues to this day carving out sounds and music designed specifically for the user's pleasure.
