Developer Biography
Richard Cowgill has been in the industry for about 10 years and worked for prominent publishers Electronic Arts, Take 2 and THQ. However some of the favorite games he's worked on have been on the fringe of this industry: action/adventure/horror game Abducted and later the Battlefield 1942 mod Desert Combat. To be sure, continuing the Myth series outside of Bungie and working on that big popular Battlefield 2 (designing levels for both of them) were good experiences.
He's worn many different hats in this industry and continues to do so today. He's frequently a Level Designer and 3D Artist (he's just as comfortable in 3DSMax as Worldcraft or Ued). On occasion he's been a Lead Designer and even a Tools Designer.
