Rich Sullivan

Developer BIO

Rich Sullivan is an incredible concept and character artist as well as a top-notch digital artist and animator.

Rich is a classically trained artist who performs equally well in almost any medium ranging from sketching on paper to sculpting in clay to creating digital art on the computer. He has worked on a series of critically acclaimed games while at Looking Glass Technologies, such as System Shock and Terra Nova: Strike Force Alpha Centauri. He has held positions in almost every role in the art industry, including Conceptual Artist, Lead Character Designer, Lead Artist, and Art Director.

Rich developed his talent in character art from a variety of experiences. He started with an art degree in illustration from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. He continued honing his skills in silkscreen design and became recognized professionally by sculpting famous figures such as hockey legend Bobby Orr and Speaker of the House Tip O’Neil. Later, he developed characters for computer games, most notably in Terra Nova where he created almost all the characters.

In 2003, Rich is a Senior Artist with Iron Lore Entertainment.
