Don WooDeveloper BIO
Don has an extensive business and technology development from the multimedia and game industry which includes Software Development, Marketing, Creative Direction, Art Direction, Design, and Digital Illustration. A graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts Degree in Fine Art, Don had embraced the digital art medium in the early 80’s. As an Illustrator, Designer, Director and Computer Graphic Artist Don has developed and marketed products for high-growth software corporations such as Electronic Arts, Broderbund, Disney Software and Activision. His client list also includes Hewlett-Packard, Apple Computer, Oracle, Aldus, Silicon Beach Software, Strategic Simulations Inc., Sega of America and National Semiconductor.
Woo has been the recipient of many national and international awards and has been an active member of the Academy Of Interactive Arts And Sciences. His work has been exhibited and published in the United States, Switzerland, Austria, and Greece. His work has been included in publications such as Getting Started In Computer Graphics, The Best Of Computer Art And Design, HOW, Interact, OnLine Design, Computer Artist, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Next Generation, Publish, MacWorld, MacUser, Print, Amiga World, Verbum and MacWeek.
Woo’s academic experience includes faculty assignments at Foothill College, Los Altos Hills and San Jose State University, California, and has also lectured at University of California Santa Cruz Extension, Stanford University, Palo Alto and the Center for Visual Communications, Santa Fe.
