Alex Beckers

Developer BIO

Alex Beckers graduated from Union College with a B.S. in Computer Science. His entry in the computer gaming industry came via his interest in online discussion forums such as web forums and bulletin boards, initially as a volunteer conference host for the official web forums of EA's Ultima IX: Ascension. Later he became a forum moderator and community manager for Warcry's Crossroads of Dereth, an Asheron's Call fan site.

In 2003 Alex was hired by Turbine to work in online community relations. In 2004 he was transferred to their Los Angeles studio, where he handled co-producer responsibilities for Asheron's Call Live and online community relations for the Asheron's Call: Throne of Destiny expansion pack.

When the Los Angeles studio was closed in 2005, Alex stayed in California. He currently works as an associate producer and localization producer at 7 Studios.
