Jason Scott

Developer BIO

Jason Scott is a writer and designer. His credits include FreeSpace 2, Summoner, and Summoner 2. A native of Maine, Jason graduated with a B.A. in English from Bates College and an M.A. in Modern Drama from University College Dublin.

Before joining Volition in 1998, Jason pursued a Ph.D. in Theatre at the University of Minnesota, researching (but never writing) his dissertation on American sideshows. Jason taught at the University of Minnesota and the University of Illinois, and for eight years he served on the faculty of the Bates College Creative Writing Workshop, a summer program for high school students.
