Robert Waring got started as a video game author with the bestselling Doom: Tips & Secrets guide in 1994. Robert authored multiple video game titles for publishers Bradygames, Sybex and Prima before moving into the development realm and creating video games with Team Evolve.

Team Evolve has developed multiple titles including Painkeep (1996), Zaero for Quake II (1988), Red Odyssey for Battlezone (2000) and PainKeep Arena (2003)

Robert continues to develop new ideas while working with Team Evolve.
