Stone PeralesDeveloper BIO
Stone Perales is a Southern California artist who develops gaming art for a broad range of Genres and styles. With over 10 years of industry experience, he has contributed art to Sony, EA, Interplay, and The Collective.
Stone got his start in games at a small start up in 1996 and was soon hired as the Collective studios first artist, working on Aeon Flux and Deep Space 9, both for the Unreal Engine (published by GT Interactive). He then moved on to lead the art team at EA Pacific during the development of NOX and Red Alert 2. With the relocating of the EA studio at hand, he briefly joined Interplay’s Black Isle studios and worked on the Icewind Dale series. He continued with Interplay for almost 4 years before the closing of their Irvine office and left to join Sony Online Entertainment, becoming art director for Everquest.
One of his most significant accomplishments to date at Sony was his R&D work on the PS3 during early 2005 which was included in the “E3 2005 press conference” and has lead to a recent awarding of a patent for his contributions.
In May 2006 he had 7 concept art pieces included in the Ballistic publishing digital illustration annual titled "Painter-the world’s best painter art".
