Chuck Carter

Developer BIO

Chuck Carter has been working in the artistic end of the science and entertainment industries for more than 30 years.

His illustration and animation work has been used extensively by National Geographic, Hartcourt and McGraw-Hill publishing, Popular Science, Wired Magazine, the US Navy, the Defense Department, Knight-Ridder News in Motion and other clients for more than 21 years.

His entertainment projects include working on the computer game Myst and more than 20 other video games as a digital artist, animator, writer, art director and computer graphics supervisor.

While working with Threshold Entertainment, he worked as a digital matte painter for shows like Babylon 5 and Mortal Kombat Krusades as well as producing animations for the US Navy and various defense contractors.

In 2006, Carter co-authored Exploring Geology for McGraw-Hill - doing more then 800 illustrations in less then a year. He continues to work on each new addition as well as is doing a series of geology animations for the eBook versions.

Chuck has started a new digital art studio - Chuck Carter Studio, LLC and will be doing full service digital graphics for clients world wide.
