Simon Goodwin

Developer BIO

Simon Goodwin's first commercial game was a simple Apple ][ title published by The Softwarehouse in 1980. He was a regular contributor to early UK home computer magazines, most notably the leading ZX Spectrum title Crash, but also designed and programmed 8 bit games for Dk'Tronics and Quicksilva.

After some TV and radio work, and freelance stints writing compilers and digital audio software, in recent years he has returned to full-time game development as a technology programmer with Attention To Detail and Codemasters, working mainly on PS2 and GameCube, then Xbox360 and PS3.

Simon was a speaker at the 2007 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, giving a talk on the OpenAL audio API.
