Developer Biography

Steve Vandergriff is a writer and television director from Florida. He wrote all of the game manuals and documentation for Papyrus' NASCAR racing series (PC simulation software), and Papyrus' IndyCar Racing series of games. Vandergriff also wrote one of the books that accompanied Grand Prix Legends, the company's simulation of the historic 1967 Formula One season. He also collaborated on a "driving tips" video with former NASCAR champion Bobby Labonte; Vandergriff served as the director on the video, which was commercially available in shopping malls worldwide.

In addition to writing game manuals, Vandergriff has served on many live network sports telecasts as a director, technical director, and camera operator. Credits include the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament (2003-present), the Masters at Augusta (1999-present), and PGA Tour Sunday on USA Network (2002-2006). Vandergriff currently directs NFL games for the Jacksonville Jaguars and continues to write business publications for Fortune 500 firms.
