Andrew TodhunterDeveloper BIO
As an award-winning author, filmmaker, game writer and designer, Andrew Todhunter brings a rare combination of skills and passion to his work in the game industry.
As a writer, Todhunter develops rich story lines, complex characters and sharp dialogue; as a design consultant, he develops content and makes detailed suggestions on ways to improve every facet of a game’s appearance, interface and playability. In either role, he loves working with talented designers, artists and programmers to push an excellent game to the next level.
Todhunter received his BA in Ancient History from UC Berkeley, and later studied film production at NYU’s Graduate Department of Film and Television.
Among other projects, he worked as a writer and content designer for
Broderbund (“
Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego”), and served as content designer and exclusive writer on the WWII tactical shooter “
Deadly Dozen II: Pacific Theater” developed by

Infogrames. As of early 2006, he is at work on several other gaming projects, including an original MMOG concept, and fiction based on Eve Online, CCP's award-winning MMOG.
In print media, Todhunter is the author of three books and scores of articles, including a series of pieces for The Atlantic Monthly. His last book, "A Meal Observed," won the 2005 Pen USA Award for Creative Nonfiction.
