Rowan Atalla currently works at Big Rooster LLC, a development studio based in Wisconsin (US), which he founded with Timothy S. Gerritsen, Jeff DeWitt and Jason Blochowiak. It was officially opened on 16th June 2007.

Previously, he had worked at Human Head Studios, Inc. as an Art Director since spring 2000, after leaving Midway Games. Game credits include Xenophage: Alien BloodSport (1995), Super Duelling Minivans (1997), CarnEvil (1998), Mortal Kombat: Special Forces (2000), Blair Witch, Volume II: The Legend of Coffin Rock (2000), Rune: Halls of Valhalla (2001) and Prey (2006).
