Craig Derrick is a video game producer with over 15 years of experience developing and directing original and licensed intellectual properties for multiple publishers on console, PC, mobile and handheld platforms. In 2012 he is the lead producer on Kinect Star Wars at LucasArts. He previously directed the development on the award-winning, re-imagined Monkey Island: Special Edition series. Prior to LucasArts, he produced a series of successful handheld titles for Activision and began his career at Parallax Software as the producer on the critically acclaimed Descent series.
Beyond his day-to-day work, Craig is an active contributor to the game development and academic communities. He's on the advisory board for Full Sail University, the International Academy of Design & Technology in Tampa and founded the Albany, New York chapter of the International Game Developers Association. He’s written for Game Developer magazine, spoken at the Game Developers Conference and San Diego Comic-Con, and has been interviewed by Entertainment Weekly, G4TV, and other online & print news sites.
