As the Creative Director, Mike establishes and maintains the visual look and feel of the games as well as manages the art team.

Why make video games? "It's creative, challenging and always changing. To me, the most important thing in a game is the atmosphere; a good game will draw you into its world."

What are you doing when you're not at Surreal? "Most of all, I love spending time with my wife and our two kids. I also like racing cars and motorcycles. My current favorite: a special 3rd generation RX-7 track car - sort of a real life Gran Turismo."

What got you started? "Since my dad was a programmer, we had the first home computer on the block. I remember a text based flight sim that was real-time, so I would leave it on overnight to fly on auto-pilot to Europe. I was obsessed."
