Biography edit · view history
Alex Beckers is a video game producer / project manager who has been working in the industry since 2003. He entered the industry via his interest in online discussion forums such as web forums and bulletin boards, initially as a volunteer conference host for the official web forums of EA's Ultima IX: Ascension. Later he became a forum moderator and community manager for Warcry's Crossroads of Dereth, an Asheron's Call fan site. This led to his first professional game job in online community relations, working on Asheron's Call for Turbine.
Since then he has worked in multiple production and project management roles for 7 Studios: Activision, Magic Pixel Games, Nexon America, Disney, and Jam City, on console, PC and mobile titles. His specialties are localization and project management.
