The king of the gold foil wrappers, (webmaster: We really need a photo to explain that one) Tom's gaming tendencies first showed themselves back in the fateful Christmas of 1980 when Santa foolishly gave him a ZX80 to write games on. A few short years later, his first public opus was published by Your Computer ("Centipede" for the Acorn Atom). Tom kept writing games as a hobby, and in time travelled to Exeter University, where he grew learned in the arts of psychology, sexy interface design and Artificial Intelligence. From there, he then ventured forth into the world and developed weird and wonderful graphical gadgets for a living, until one day, without warning, he was suddenly sucked in by the irresistible pull of StarTopia's artificial gravity generator, never to be seen again...

Nowadays, Tom's duties on board revolve around the coding deck, where he gracefully flits between AI and the architecture, multi-player and mission scripting, and graphical and interface aspects of the station.

When not in orbit, Tom makes strange noises with electric guitars, drops juggling balls and kneecaps himself with snow boards.
