View Mode: threaded | watch thread Qwertyuiop, a MobyGames contributor whose nickname is so easy to type, has scored 10,000 contribution points and also become the new 50th all-time most prolific contributor. Now all the top 50 contributors have 10,000 points or more, which is very impressive, to say the least. I remember the joy of becoming the 25th all-time contributor in 2001, scoring the unbelievable 1,600 points... Two years later, when the ladder was expanded to 50, you could become a top contributor with a mere 900 points...Also, in related news, Macs Black became the 9th person in MobyGames' history to amass 50,000 points. Even more remarkable is that he achieved this in only two and a half years since joining the site - truly an outstanding feat! Congrats!Incidentally, this also means that one of our founders, Brian Hirt is kicked out of the top 50! ![]() vedder Wrote:

Poor Brian. But congrats guys ! ![]() vedder Wrote:

It seems Brian doesn't get any points for programming, does he? Congratulations, to both of you. It's been a pleasure approving Macs Black's submissions (those that fall in the Mac queue) and I've been checking the Top Contributors for several weeks now, waiting for the 50th position to be taken by someone with at least 10,000 points. I can now find some other meaningless pre-occupation with the site. =)
Congratulations for both! =D
Kudos to the two power houses ! :o)But kudos also to you, Oleg, for being the fifth contributor in history to reach 60,000 points, a feat that went by unnoticed a little while ago. And when Sciere achieves another 10,000 points (now 120,000), nobody even cares any more, right? ;o) But kudos also to you, Oleg, for being the fifth contributor in history to reach 60,000 points, a feat that went by unnoticed a little while ago.Wah, finally someone notices :() Anyway, stay tuned for my 70000, I hope very much by the end of this year - but a lot depends on the approvers, too :) And when Sciere achieves another 10,000 points (now 120,000), nobody even cares any more, right? ;o) Nah :) Those astronomical numbers are too much for our feeble minds to grasp. Human brain is not capable of understanding the ways of Sciere :) Congrats qwertyuiop, Macs and Oleg!
Congratulations! Good work!
Also congratulations to Scaryfun who reached the first milestone of 5,000 MobyPoints a couple of weeks back.(Whoopsie almost forgot about this!) ![]() vedder Wrote:

BTW, special thanks to Scaryfun from me, too, for kicking some items off the missing MMO games list lately. (Edited by Agent 5 Re: You Need 10000 To Be On Top Agent 5 And yet further thanks to Scaryfun for his contributions to the Mac queue. He's filled a few (gaping) holes with his submissions.Scaryfun and Macs Black are responsible for perhaps a third of all my approvals, at this point.
I've got 6. Only a eternity and a day to go... Lol!

erm...there is no need to be unpleasant or is there? I have noticed that Jonas Quinn's posts are typically paragons of uselessness and idiocy. I have noticed that Jonas Quinn'sHe is Jacob, not Jonas. No need to call the Leviathan yet :) YID YANG Wrote:

Compare it to "Mahabharata", which would barely fit on a bookshelf :) JudgeDeadd Wrote: mobygamer Wrote: Pseudo_Intellectual Wrote:

You know, Jebediah Quinn, you remind me of "jakeboudville" -- an user on Gamespot who, it seems, has made it his mission in life to comment on every single Gamespot article with "sounds cool". I can't. What's wrong with the figure anyway? The most important thing is that I registered a account on mobygames. Thanks to all, and congratulations to Qwertyuiop!
