View Mode: threaded | watch thread More contribution achievements to celebrate within the MobyCommunity:Sciere continues to boldly go where no contributor has gone before and recently broke the nearly unimaginable 130,000 points barrier. If this alone isn't enough to let the Moby founders thankfully fall to their knees, his behind-the-scenes work (approvals, administration, whatnot) sure is. IMHO it can be safely said that Sciere is one of the main driving forces that keep this site running. Some days ago, Patrick Bregger added a second 10,000 of contribution points to his belt. He continues his systematic contribution campaign by adding the most obscure of missing Windows games and doing valuable maintenance on all ends of the database. I don't know if he already owns approval rights, but judging by his constructive and thoughtful commentary in the forums, it can't be long. And last, but not least, silent American contributor Ricky Derocher broke into the 10K points club, mostly by adding missing screen shots for ages-old home computer games. Big congratulations to all! Congrats all, and big applause for Sciere for putting up with... everything.
(Edited by joyvalley (131248), May 18, 2010) Sciere, Patrick Bregger & Ricky Derocher reach new joyvalley (131248), May 18, 2010 Wonderful, huge congratz and thx to all of them. Not much more i can add - you said it all :) It's a little bit disappointing that Moby's No. 1 puts such a huge gap to all others (we should really think about a counter reset for him ;), it looks like he is in a comfortable position to be never attacked by any other member. Hoping he won't use this situation one day to have a break here. I know Patrick well, often enough i have to approve his contributions - and it's always a good and easy thing to do this. He's not part of the Dark Side of Moby so far. I talked to him not long ago, if he is interested in... maybe not at the moment - he see himself grounded at the PC platform, but personally i hope to see him better sooner than later in our team. I'm sure he has the potential, the heart blood and the knowledge, we will see... Also huge congratz to Ricky Derocher, i always enjoy it, when the database gets more colorful - and his screenshots do this. Thanks guys & may the Moby juice furthermore with you !!! When I see such devotion to the cause... done for free... I begin to wonder, that it should be "hobbyists" who should run this world: with genuine dedication, love, attention to detail etc.

Thanks! It took a lot of time and effort to get to 10,000 points, but it was well worth it. Congratulations to all!

Big congrats to the three of you! :)
Congratulations Sciere, Patrick, and Ricky.Excellent work as usual.
I thank you all for your kind words! Of course I also congratulate Sciere who spends so much time on the database and has always an open ear for questions. I don't want to imagine how MobyGames would be without him.
Also huge congratulations to Ricky Derocher. Screenshots are one of the few parts of MobyGames in which I am not really interested in. This means it is great to know that there are people who are! Even if I didn't see his work. (Edited by hydra9 Re: Sciere, Patrick Bregger and Ricky Derocher hydra9 Major congratulations to all! I still have no idea how Stijn manages it.
Congrats everyone!
Congratulations to them all. Users like them are the kind of folks that make MG be what it is now.
It must be hard to continue knowing that no matter how many points you collect, you are no closer to having a girlfriend.Anyway, great job. I'm sure I've benefited from the submissions of you three and not even known it. ![]() Maw Wrote:

Perhaps their girlfriends hide somewhere in the Top100. =) |
