User AvatarAlso, can you change Oric-1 to just Oric to have it cover both Oric-1 and the follow up Oric Atmos.

User Avatarso there are no games specifically that work on Oric-1 and not Atmos?

User AvatarDon't think so. They should be mostly the same. The differences are only an updated OS and new keyboard.
User AvatarLooking up potential candidates for games already present just needing a new platform tag, I see: "Level 9 Series: A range of excellent text adventures were available for the Oric 1 (only, sorry Atmos users) from Level 9. "
User AvatarFor what it's worth, I've seen a "first released" date of the Atmos of 1st February 1984, so anything from 1983 is most likely for the Oric-1.

User AvatarHmm, seems like I was actually completely wrong. According to this the lack of compatibility between the computers was the main reason the platform failed.

But that doesn't necessarily means that we can't have both under the same platform, like we do with Atari 8-bit.

User AvatarWoah, can't believe my eyes! Updating Wikipedia now, thank you!

I'm so excited I'm submitting games for platforms I've never touched nor seen :D

Wonder how long it will take him to get over the shock of finally having got his way on the X6800, so to speak. He'll probably be insufferably happy for a good couple of weeks.

User AvatarYeah, look at the database stats now. During the first day there were 70 X68k games added (I've added a dozen myself, although I've never seen Sharp on my own eyes! Heck, I've even added the sole Super A'can game, despite the fact that I've never heard about that console before :D )
User Avatar"Oric?", you may say, but this means that Eric Chahi's career can now be traced another year back.
User AvatarAmen!
