This thread is not about the holiday years. Now, the site is loading too slow and you get an Service Temporarily Unavailable error message. Well... you might want to wait the Moby team to fix this error.

I don't want to encourage Tae Wong or anything. But he is kind of right. Lately there've been lots of times when MobyGames was very slow for a couple minutes, sometimes giving errors (500 or 503, I forgot).

Like right now.

Approving a MobyRank takes more than 40 seconds!

Since I highly doubt there's a sustained traffic increase (or a sustained attack...), I can only assume that GameFly switched us to lesser hosting to cut costs.

Speaking of GF, what's this? Seems old and actually already expired, but the weird part is that it's much older than the purchase.

Ah, ok. I just did a random search now and found it surprising, haven't exactly looked on the forums till last year to notice any of that.

You get to a certain age when flame wars and caring isn't as fun as it used to be and just don't really give a flying fakk anymore.

It's not the age, it's the mileage ;)
