View Mode: threaded | watch thread According to GameSpot, Burger King will offer three exclusive games with the purchase of one of their value meals for a limited time. Priced at $3.99 a pop, each game will center on one particular activity. Pocketbike Racer will star the King or one of the other BK mascots as they race on several circuits; Big Bumpin' is bumper cars with the BK mascots, and Sneak King is basically Metal Gear Solid, except that you sneak up on people to give them hamburgers as The King.Yes, you can creep up on people and give them burgers. I don't know who thought this was a good idea, but eh. The discs will be available for a limited time only - from November 19 to December 24, 2006. As an interesting note, these three games are also reported to be the first Xbox / Xbox 360 hybrid discs; one game disc will hold the program for both consoles. That's a good idea, one that several companies should follow instead of releasing basically the same game for both platforms at a premium price. *cough*EA*cough* Ugh. I remember back in 2000 when Taco Bell included this really awful Doom clone with their kids' meals where you played as a taco from Taco Bell. The whole thing felt like it was watered down to appeal to kids, though I don't remember much of the game. It was that forgettable. Also, since the piece of crap only came on a floppy disk, one of the floppy disks that had the game on it was damaged when I bought it home. Why couldn't they also sell it on CD-ROMs, since they're faster and much more reliable? It just shows their sheer laziness. If Burger King is also going to pick up this trend, they better hire a dev team that actually knows how to make a game. I wish that more of these games were like the excellent Chex Quest from 1996. ![]() Spartan_234 Wrote:

The games don't look that bad, to be honest. $4 for an Xbox/360 game is not a bad deal, regardless of how shoddy it may be. There's much worse games that cost upwards of $29 as it is. ;P If you ask me, the Burger King games look like they'll suck just as much as that Taco Bell game. I do appreciate when decent games have a low price tag, but really, a low price tag is not an excuse for a sucky game.

Pardon, but I haven't heard of this Taco Bell game. Is this it? What about that strange screen resolution (320x400)?
