User AvatarWhoah, MobyGames just achieved the 30,000 games mark. I guess we have to congratulate all you contributors that make this project what it is.

Congratulations, fellow MobyGamers!
User AvatarMobyGamers are the best!!! =D
User AvatarCongratulations, Moby Gods, for giving us the possibility to do it!

Of course, there's always room for improvement (I won't say anything about game groups ;-) ), but all in all, you have created a wonderful thing which makes sense in every way.
User AvatarWow. I haven't looked at the stats in awhile. It doesn't seem like that long ago when we hit 10,000. Great work!
User AvatarThe number of unique games is lower, as the 30,000 number counts releases on multiple platforms for the same game as distinct entries.

The number of unique game entries in the database is 16,101. If you subtract the 1039 compilations, you get 15,062 unique games.

Still an awesome achievement!

Compilations are still valuable entries, especially if they have cover art or include games which weren't released anywhere else. However you looks at the numbers, this site has more detal on games than any other side - a few might have the names/platforms/publishers/years of more than 30,000 titles, but none have as many screenshots, covers, credits, trivium (is that the singular form of trivia? I guess that's where the metal band got their name, if it is?) across so many systems as MobyGames goes.
