The Game Developers Conference is back in San Francisco, March 5 - 9. GDC is the largest conference for and about the people and companies that make games. Typically held in San Jose, this year the organizers are trying SF again. Two years ago they tried the Moscone Center to rather mixed results. They didn't really have the format dialed in. Last year GDC retreated back to known turf, but the conference has grown just too large for what San Jose has to offer.

Never heard of this event - but cool... I'd check it out if I were in the US, but nothing really happens, like gaming events like these (except from a few in London), in England.
