Daily Gaming News is reporting that the forward thinking and progressive Kansas Board of Education has banned all things Pokemon.
"The Kansas Board of Education approved a controversial measure yesterday that will ban all Pokemon video games, trading cards, and related merchandise because of the franchise’s blatant promotion of evolution."Oh lord. This one just speaks for itself. OMG.I especially love this quote: "and then turned their eyes to the school system, which has long been a hotbed of Pokemon activity." lol Holy crap!
Intelligent Design Theory = Magic Man Did It !! What the hell? Pokémon burnings?Although I'm surprised that they didn't point out that Pokémon is black magic. Jesus... At the risk of sounding terribly naive...is this real news? This reads more like what Darwinists think "Intelligent Design" advocates are than what they really are...
Deluded zealots?
Yeah, I kept looking at the story's date, expecting to see "April 1" instead of "April 03".Looking at the site more, though... yeah, this site is a total goof. Jack Thompson Claims “Starfighter” Video Game Led to Youth Saving Galaxy edit flipkin's post: "Site is parody. Don't panic."

The terrible thing is that you actually could believe it... I hope that's satire, cause I nearly pissed myself laughing!Take that you evolution-loving liberals! *Ulp* Knew it all along!
When I first read this I actually felt more sorry than angry. At least its a joke. "Above: Protestors from the Calvary Glorious Christ Church Militant and Triumphant Baptist Temple gather singing hymns and burning Pokemon games."That one was a pretty obvious clue... Well the best clue is that "seriously satirical" phrase in the page title :-) Otherwise, it would have fooled me, for sure!
Hmm, should have spent more than 30 seconds to skim it. I thought it was just another case where reality beats satire, oh well.
You can't really tell reality from satire these days. When I first read about the Muslims' reactions to the Muhammad cartoons in Denmark I also thought it was satire.
