View Mode: threaded | watch thread Jeanne pioneered many things here at MG. She was the first woman to become an approver back in 2001, when MG was just 2 years old, and she's the second most active approver (right behind Sciere), taking care of almost 1/5 of all our approval work. She was also the first woman to be at the Top 50 list of contributors. Now, Jeanne is the 7th person in MG history to break the 40,000 barrier, and also the first woman to do so.Congratulations Jeanne, and please, keep up the awesome work! ![]()
Congrats again! :))
Yay! That's awesome work. Congratulations Jeanne!
Great work, the French release info items pushed you over the edge =)
Congratulations Jeanne !

A legendary achievement!
Well done, Jeanne! =) Awesome, nice work!
Way to go!
Congratulations!
I'd like to personally thank Jeanne for all the care and detail she's given to checking and dealing with my own submissions. She's managed to catch me on a couple of mistakes and I thank her for it.
And I was only away for three days...Well done Jeanne. You're doing a great work considering how many cruel submitters lurk out there. ;-) ![]() chirinea Wrote:

Are you saying Jeanne had a hard time doing all of this stuff while also being a woman? :) I knew it would sound sexist for some of you. It is just unusual to have women among us, and you guys know it. Besides Jeanne, monkeyislandgirl, DJPMom, Pollo Diablo and Rachel, I can't remember of any other woman hanging out regularly among us. Just when someone says that someone is the first, for instance, Aussie or South American user to achieve such rank, I just felt it was interesting to note that she's a woman. No prejudice or sexism intended.
It's just the opposite of sexism; it's being a gentleman and acknowledging a woman's work!Pollo Diablo is a girl?!.. I didn't know that...

I know this sounds wired... but does anyone remember Suize Q? ''She's'' not a girl, ''her'' name's Billy, I think. I didn't think Jeanne was a girl at first, until I asked her. Anyway, I didn't MonkeyIslandGirl was a girl either. I'm not very good at spelling... Making people have sex changes by talking to them is a pretty amazing perk.
Anyway, I didn't MonkeyIslandGirl was a girl eitherIt's the "girl" part of her nickname that eventually gave her gender away.

I guess. But what if I didn't tell you my name, and didn't create all those other ''fake'' accounts? Would ''Black Rose'' give my gender away? No, but the nickname "Black Rose" would be most likely chosen by a girl.

Wouldn't be so sure about that nowadays. You 're right but I wanna be an optimist today.
I see.

"Astrid" = female name, as in Astrid Lindgren ;-) "Astrid" = female name, as in Astrid Lindgren ;-)I didn't know her name was Astrid... now I'm utterly confused... a Swedish-named girl with a Spanish nickname taken from an American game... |
