When it comes to contributing some people specialize in a certain kind of item. Some people contribute mainly cover scans, others rather contribute screenshots, others prefer to revise descriptions and so on. Our German approver Wizo is a MobyRank specialist. When it comes to it, he's literally second to none, as almost half of his recently reached 20,000 points come from MobyRanking. Congratulations, Wizo!

I tried to get points using MobyRanks as well soon after it was added to the site. After adding 273 GameSpot reviews it had become very tedious (add, next, add, next, etc. etc) so I stoped and started doing something that was a bit more interesting like adding games. Well done Wizo for keeping it up (over 18,000 wow).

Contributing MobyRanks is such monotonous and boring work, I amazed how someone could add 18219 of them. For sure, Wizo doing this even when while sleeping.

Theoratically this would be possible. If a website has a reliable pattern in their reviews, you could create a script-controlled bot that adds the MobyRanks fully automatically.

It's this strange passion for statistics that pushes me to submit or approve them, though I don't have that much time for the latter any more. But 18000 MobyRanks aren't that much. There is a lot of potential in that area. I still have about 100 issues of German magazines to add and currently there are more than 4500 URLs in my MobyRank bookmark file. These strange Germans, huh?

And yes, my avatar doesn't show Avril Lavigne, it's Miss Mohnhaupt, the best example for the beauty of female punks, anarchists, communists and left-wing terrorists. Venceremos!

Aw man, I'm sorry again! I mean, it isn't as if I am the official milestone newscaster around, but it seems people expect that from me since I've been doing it for some time now. As I said earlier, I may have overlooked your milestone, but I remember checking for any other contributors with similar scores and only seeing Oliver there.

Anyway, you won't be forgotten on your 40,000, at least not by me, I promise.
