View Mode: threaded | watch thread I have a few PC titles lined up for submission, with a couple of weird cases among them:1) a DOS version of a game that's already listed for other platforms. Those other versions are all commercial releases with copyrights and publisher/developer info, but the DOS release is free and has no credits at all; pretty much a DIY port. Should this be an additional platform, or a separate game entry? 2) a series of games numbered 1 through 4. These were shareware, and I'm not sure if they were ever released separately - all I've found is a single BBS release containing all four games. The usual "episodic" type of deal (Apogee etc.) gets submitted as a single game, but, in this case:
The second case, you can document them both alone and together. If a game is released episodically and then in an omnibus edition, they get separate entries alone and together. Prior examples of this currently in the database may not best reflect how we currently want it done. Alright. Unauthorized ports had me confused since I saw Pango (for DOS) listed as a platform under Pengo (for other systems), but now I see that this was recently rectified.
