View Mode: threaded | watch thread In Patrick Wyatt's article The making of Warcraft part 2, he links to the DOS credits using http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/warcraft-orcs-humans/credits and states that they "are completely borked because they mix the much later Macintosh and 1998 releases of the game with the original 1994 DOS release, so many folks are mis-credited."Can anyone with DOS Warcraft either refute or verify his claim? Better yet, if fixup is needed, fix them up and then reply to his blog? WildKard's credits are indeed from the CD-ROM re-release. MajorDad's submission is not sourced though.
(Edited by Sciere Re: Warcraft credits inaccurate? Sciere This is the part where a listing can be rejected if someone submits a new, sourced one. The last five years or so all credit listings are fully sourced, but before that they were often approved on the submitter's word alone. This is also why the source images for all listings need to be made available to any visitor.

Not only for credits listing, but for all info we have here. Seems to me Wyatt is bothered that Bill Roper is credited alongside him as producer. I don't have the original release manual, but seems that in earlier manuals Wyatt alone is credited for the role, while later manuals credit solely Roper. Go figure.
