Hints and tips normally have something to do with ways of improving the way you play the game, but sometimes they can cover other aspects.

For example some games allow you to use custom portraits, but you must know the the size and format(s) the game accepts and where to place them; something that's not always covered in game manuals. Custom portraits obviously don't affect the actual gameplay, but they can enhance the gaming experience. Would information regarding things like this be accepted on MobyGames or does it have to be strictly gameplay related?
