I've been clearing the news queue a few times to see if anyone had submitted a news item about it. Another impressive milestone.

It's 100.000 cover arts, not cover art points; so you have to divide your percentage by 3. ;-)

I apologize and take my pat back! I was carried away in the moment. But I will still go ahead and give myself a hug for 2,89% and there's absolutely nothing you can do about that! HA!

How many scanners died to reach that goal?

Personally, I have 850+ cover art scans to my record, with at least 170 more cover art scans in reserve and waiting to go (as soon as I get the games into the database). So far, I have only had one scanner die in service to MobyGames. :-)

Ah, the good ol'days when we used to submit fake and pirated cover art. :)

Well, many of our distinguished approvers used to...several years ago...when MG was still kinda new and submission entries were much more linient. But we've taken down most of those coverart. Since we don't need the points anymore. :)

And with Electronic, we can revive this as we don't need physical covers to scan any more anyway - and acting legit at the same time. =)
