hey guys and girls here on mobygames.
i got a questions for you all, if my xbox 360 breaks down due to the famous RROD (Red Ring Of Death/ Doom), should I A): Send it in for repairs. B) Send it in and turn my back on it and console gaming or C) Send it in and get a playstation 3 instead hope you can help me with this one, it isn't urgent or anything but i need answers. A.Why would you get a PS3? You probably already have a sizable 360 library. Selling it won't do you much good. And besides, the repairs are free. I'll go with A. too, even if it is not covered by warranty it gets fixed at a set cost that is much cheaper then a PS3 and you get a year's warranty on the fixed console.

Does one game count as a library ? :D Sue Microsoft. Send the Xbox for repairs. Sue Microsoft. Get a PS3. Don't forget to sue Microsoft.
Does this STILL happen in this day and age? I mean, isn't there a way to fix the consoles for good? Is the 360 as a race condemned to suffer the RROD for eternity?Man, I so love pc gaming in these moments... =P ![]() Schadenfreude Wrote:

The be fair, the PC hard drives are prone to failure as every other storage device in every other media appliance. ![]() Foxhack Wrote: The Cliffe Wrote: Schadenfreude Wrote:

Then again, none of those happen as often as I hear about RRODs, and the repairs cost can be softened if you know your stuff. But I guess you have to be kind of a hardware nerd for that. Which I luckily am =P Buggy software, on the other hand... Ah... did you hear about Fallout 3's last few patches? *Bangs head on desk* ![]() Schadenfreude Wrote:

Nah. :p Send it back and don't even contemplate getting a PS3 instead.

Last Guardian Send it back to Microsoft and hopefully get a new one which doesn't have that same bug.
