Hey. I have sketchy memories, here they are.
2D Platformer. I ran it in dos. My copy, at least, had a game selection launcher menu type thing that ran ahead of the main game. It was separate to the game itself. Fantasy theme. The player's character may have been a wizard. Levels consisted of collecting gems (I think) which appeared centre of a tile or position, I mean, at waist level or thereabouts. There would be quite a number of them (hundreds?) in a level all over the place, some harder to get than others, and they all had to be collected before a deadline to pass the level. An "overworld" of sorts, where you would walk to different areas to enter levels. Some areas needed a minimum number of gems (or whatever the commodity was) to access. Possibly a vibrant, colourful aesthetic. Thanks for any suggestions in advance ;) Xargon?

Clyde's Adventure Game, that's it. So, maybe I got some details wrong, haha. Thanks a lot :D I haven't seen this in many, many years..
