"Ormo" playtest
vedder Bronze Star Contributing Member (18684), Feb 09, 2013
User AvatarRoughly a year ago I started working on a turn based strategy game in my spare time. It's still very far from done, but this weekend I plan to achieve my first major milestone (just some minor polish to be done). It's not a beta, not even an alpha, more of a proof of concept.

The game draws inspiration from games such as Risk and Europa Universalis and in its current state it's a sort of sandbox that features most of the core mechanics. There's no AI yet, so the player gets to control the actions of all players.

If people are interested in playing it, please let me know. I'll be uploading it somewhere soon.

I have a Windows executable version and a browser version which requires Flash and should run in any browser that supports Flash (but is untested).

User AvatarI was about to ask if it's Flash... looks like fantasy, too?

I always liked turn-based strategy games (although I never found the time to play EU series and spin-offs). 2 years ago I'd probably spam you with ideas, but now I got burned out after so many failed attempts at reviving my career... maybe I could help in testing, if you want somebody using old computer (but I don't promise anything).

User AvatarEuropa Universalis games are not turn-based. ;)
