Ok I have this game in my head and I just need to put a name to it. I only remember certain things, very few of them in fact, but I believe it was for the Sega console or the NES. You play as a boy and on one of the levels you need to find lava boots and they are red. I know that's not much to go on but it's all I can remember. If ANYONE has ANY idea what game I'm talking about it would be much appreciated.
We'll need more help than that. Is it a side-scroller? A platform game? What does the player even DO in this game? What areas are in the game? What color is the sky/background? What shape is the main character?
Based on Red Boots alone... my guess would be Strider for NES... but the Red Boots were magnetic ones, and you'd probably remember walking on the walls and ceiling. There are water-walking boots, but they're not red :)
I don't know. I'll have to think if I remember any games where the character had big floppy red shoes.
I'll bite the first person who even remotely starts considering making a game group for Big Floppy Red Shoes. :p

There's a few McDonald's games in existance... so why not? :)
Wild guesses, "Solstice" or maybe "Legacy of the Wizard" for NES?
