Excellent Noughts and Crosses game! But getting old for current OS's.

It still worked in XP but not with Win7. I wasn't feeling hopeful about whether it would work in Win8, but i tried anyway.

Win8 said that to open this program it needs to enable support for 16bit programs, do you want to enable it? yes/no

So it was that easy this time. :)

This is one of the best, if not The Best XO i have found anywhere ever. But it would be nice to have updated version someday... Who knows if programmer could make it even better nowadays. :D

Presumably because you're running it on a 32-bit version of Windows 8. I doubt the 64-bit version would allow you to run it. The same for Windows 7 presumably.

And since 64-bit is growing and is quickly being adopted as the common architecture for Windows, all these "still works in Windows 7/8" posts have the potential to become misinformation.
