I can't be the only one who dislikes the narrator. Seems to be an awesome game, but that one thing annoys me.

I got used to her after a while :)

She often speaks too slowly, and stretches/intones some words in a weird way. I still keep the narration on, though, cause I'm funny that way.

Yeah, I turned it off right away. It's just painfully slow and cringe-worthy to sit through it in a fantastic game such as Gabriel Knight.

I don't know, I love this game so much that I even like the narrator...

It's been a while since I last played it, but from what I remember the narrator was almost the only voice in the game that I didn't hate... maybe that's a bit extreme, but I remember being particularly annoyed by the voices of Gabriel and his detective friend. The narrator's accent was pretty exaggerated but it somehow fit the mood anyway.
