Windows platform?
MrFlibble (1336), Jan 21, 2013
User AvatarI wonder why this is listed under Windows games? Both Dune and Dune II are DOS games and IIRC neither had a Windows port.
User AvatarBut if the compilation has a Windows-only installer, then there you have it.

User AvatarI thought we use "Includes Windows Launcher or Installer" for this? (in DOS tech-specs)

I don't know about this case, but the tech spec only applies if the Windows installer is optional. If you have to use the Windows installer, i.e. you can't install it under DOS, we file it as Windows game. The same principle that applies to emulator-bundled releases on GOG.

User AvatarFor a game released in 95 it's questionable whether it would have just a forced Windows installer though. You'd lose half your potential market.

User AvatarMy thoughts too.

Issue resolved: DOS. Front/back cover say nothing, but the 3rd pic shows requirements.

User AvatarIn that case the correct course of action would be to submit a platform addition for DOS and a correction to have the Windows platform removed and all info moved over to DOS.
