Games, typically text adventures or works of interactive fiction, compiled (often from Inform source code, more commonly compiled to Z-code) to the extended specifications of Andrew Plotkin's platform-independent virtual machine specifications, using his Glk API. Games of this type in the database are typically played through a bundled Glulxe interpreter such as WinGlulxe or through the Java Zag or Javascript Quixe interpreters via a web browser.
