Group Description

Games using Steamworks, a development and publishing suite by Valve Corporation that allows developers to easily integrate functionality in regards to Valve's digital distribution platform Steam for Windows games. Steamworks allows for auto-updating, game statistics, multiplayer capabilities with voice chat, and access to the Steam community. Developers have access to quick build distribution, crash testing, and usability data.

The first game to use is Steamworks is Audiosurf, released on 15th February 2008. Games using Steamworks are not necessarily released through the Steam digital platform.
