Group Description

All official releases, expansion packs and spin-offs part of or based on the original The Sims 2 game by Maxis Software, Inc.. The entire franchise can be browsed through the The Sims series gamegroup.

Next to the different releases of the main game, the following subgroups are available:

The Sims 2 expansions (official expansions with new scenarios for the Windows/Macintosh version of the game; requires the original game to play)

The Sims 2 Stuff series (official expansions only adding new items rather than scenarios; requires the original game to play)

The Sims Stories series (A series of spin-offs from The Sims 2 and its expansions, focusing on linear stories without open-ended gameplay and controls adapted for laptops.)
