DOSAbandonia
All-in-all a pretty fun game, certainly worth a look if you enjoy any sort of mystery game, and casual gamers might find promise in this. Otherwise, it's nothing that special to write home about (Although I don't know why you would write home about a game).

221B Baker Street is a worthwhile product for those who don't mind playing board games in electronic format, who enjoy games based on puzzle solving, and who don't have problems getting several friends to gather 'round to play a game. If you don't meet all those requirements, the game will be less satisfying.

221B Baker Street, isn't that where Sherlock Holmes was supposed to live? Yup, your memory is correct, it is. Being so you probably can understand that one of the main characters in this game is our very favourite crime buster Sherlock. Being an innovating game, here you're actually get to solve a number of cases. By solving, you now have to roll the dice, move the amount of places you get, and then reroll. You will go into stores, theatres, parks, and other similar town'ish places. Why? To get clues you momo! You see in order to solve a case you'll need to get a badge at the police station, then you should collect sufficient clues from various locations throughout the town. When you're confident that you know who the killer is, what the weapon was used and the motive, you'll return to your very home and solve some questions regarding the killer. It's not very easy to get it all correct the first time, so it can be smart to have a paper sheet and write down the clues you find.

Commodore 64The Good Old Days
The game has a few basic problems, of course. First of all, cases you already know aren't replayable at all, so as impressive as the number of cases might sound at first, they don't last that long. Also, a computer specific problem is the relatively slow gameplay. Last, but not least, the single player fun is kind of limited, because even though there is a final rating depending on how many clues you needed to solve a case, it is hardly challenging without competition. Overall, still a good 'timewaster'.
