MINI-GOLF ENTERS A NEW DIMENSION OF FUN
Sierra puts 3D Mini-Golf action onto your computer screen
Avid mini-golf fans never have to fight crowds, weather, or traffic ever again. Thanks to Sierra's new 3D Ultra MiniGolf, you can immerse yourself in 18 holes of fantastic mini-golf action as your favorite pastime hits the multimedia PC.
3D Ultra MiniGolf challenges your putting skills as you adventure through lush, 3D landscapes and face hazardous approaches on your way to a hole-in-one. You'll experience a heightened sense of visual awareness as each new hole combines outrageous graphics and clever play with actual physics, including calculated ball dynamics.
Each of the 18 holes is designed with a theme world of its own, complete with three-dimensional targets. Players can enjoy all the classic holes found in miniature golf, including a fairyland castle, a lighthouse, the old women in the shoe, and even the obligatory giant windmill.
But prepare yourself -- some of the holes are pure pandemonium. You'll whack your ball between erupting volcanoes or bank a putt through a bustling space port. You'll watch in disbelief as your ball disintegrates in molten lava or --worst yet --gets eaten by a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
It's great fun for the entire family, with a variety of difficulty levels in special games such as Match, Medal, and Timed play. A "simultaneous players feature" allows up to four players to challenge their golfing buddies at one time.
This program includes a patented TruePuttTM Golf Swing which offers realistic putt control over the force and the angle of each putt, or players can choose to use EasyPutt TM which swings their club with a simple click of the mouse.
3D Ultra MiniGolf uses the same unique 3D universe modeling that is featured in Sierra's highly successful 3D Ultra line of action/arcade products: 3D Ultra Pinball -- the best-selling PC pinball game of all time, and the recently-released 3D Ultra Pinball: Creep Night. Whether you're a seasoned golfer with a surefire putt or a first timer, one round through this 3D Ultra MiniGolf domain promises players hours of exciting mini-golf entertainment.
