Description_Access is a humorous pseudohacking game where you play as a gamer who has to apply his hacking skills to download an otherwise unavailable adventure game demo. The interface is a simplified computer terminal interface, where the player must use telnet and various hacking tools to probe the net for possible access to the demo in question. The hacking problems are logical, and in some cases time-based. The game also features a number of internet relay chat channels, where the player can ask for help. Some of the channels are caricatures of existing IRC channels, just like some of the game characters are modelled on real people and bots, including the game designer Akatosh himself. The game's graphics have been partially borrowed from another pseudohacking game, Uplink: Hacker Elite.
