Description

A collection of 30 classic Activision and Imagic titles originally published for the Atari 2600.

The games are:

Atlantis (defend your kingdom from missiles and planes; originally published by Imagic);
Barnstorming (timed race across an obstacle strewn path);
Boxing (overhead pugilism);
Chopper Command (Defender-like side-scrolling shooter);
Crackpots (the reverse of Kaboom! - drop objects on marauding insects);
Cosmic Commuter (side scrolling shooter);
Dolphin (side scrolling shooter);
Dragster (reminiscent of Atari's Drag Race coin-op - a side-scrolling drag racing simulation);
Enduro (Turbo-like marathon auto-race);
Fishing Derby (the first console fishing game!);
Freeway (Frogger-like screen-crosser, starring a chicken);
Frostbite (another screen-crosser, this time to build an igloo);
Grand Prix (overhead view auto race);
H.E.R.O. (flick-screen platform adventure);
Ice Hockey (2-on-2 hockey);
Kaboom! (catch the falling bombs, reminiscent of Atari's Avalanche coin-op);
Keystone Kapers (platformer, catch the crook before he escapes);
Laser Blast (play the UFO and destroy enemy bases);
Megamania (Astro Fighter-like space shooter);
Pitfall (the original classic flick-screen platform adventure);
Plaque Attack (shoot tooth-rotting scum);
River Raid (overhead shooter);
River Raid II (ditto);
Seaquest (side scrolling underwater shooter);
Skiing (overhead slalom);
Sky Jinx (airplane racing);
Spider Fighter (shoot the bugs who want your fruit);
Stampede (keep the cattle from getting away);
Starmaster (Star Raiders-like space combat "simulator");
Tennis (first pseudo-3D tennis game).

The title unfortunately features nothing beyond the games themselves.
