Description

This is a futuristic sci-fi adventure game. The setting is the year 2051; as Sergeant Eric Renfield, you are sent to the planet Squal of the Acalius galaxy, to investigate a loss of communication with a science team on the planet. Obviously things do not go as planned, and after crash-landing on the relatively barren planet, you must deal with the native inhabitants and make good your escape.

The game uses relatively simple graphics for the time of release, and depicts a lonely world, with very little interaction. Gameplay uses a standard first-person point of view with a combination of logic and inventory-based puzzles. Whilst there is audio in the form of voice it is rather limited, although there are several puzzles that make use of sound to break things up a bit. There are reported stability problems under recent operating systems, but running under Win 98/95 compatibility modes fixes most of these problems.
