Description

Because of the popularity of the 3 Atari 2600 Action Packs, and of emulation technology in general, Activision took the next step and brought out an emulation package featuring the most popular home computer of all time- the Commodore 64. The 15 games are:
  • Hacker: you hack into a top secret computer and gain access to a government's systems. Just like a real hacker, there are no instructions- you have to figure out what to do as you go.

  • Beamrider: a pseudo-3D space shooter. Fly over a scrolling grid and shoot down enemies.

  • Portal: an attempt at a new type of interactive fiction; more like an interactive book than an Infocom-style game.

  • Little Computer People: inside your Commodore 64 was a home! This gives you access to the home; watch as a little person moves in (with a dog!), and you become responsible for his well-being. Make sure he has food and water, entertain him, and comfort him when he's sad. Out-Tamagotchis a Tamagotchi, and beats it by almost 15 years, to boot.

  • The Activision Decathlon: in the vein of Track & Field; compete in multiple events by wiggling your joystick back and forth.

  • Zenji: a moving tile puzzle game, "based" on the Konami arcade game Loco-Motion.

  • Top Fuel Eliminator: a Gamestar drag racing simulation. Alcazar

  • Toy Bizarre: a frantic platform game- jump around and shut off the toy machines, pick up bonuses, and watch out for rogue toys.

  • Zone Ranger: a space shooter; fly around zones, turning on barriers, shooting enemies.

  • Rock n' Bolt: isometric view puzzle game- get onto various still or moving platforms and bolt them down in a pattern that allows you access to all parts and the exit.

  • Park Patrol: a strange game where you must boat up and down a river... Web Dimension

  • The Great American Cross-Country Road Race: an arcade-themed road rally.

  • Master of the Lamps
