Actua Soccer 2006: International Edition
Description
Several years after the heydays of the Actua Soccer franchise comes this mobile variant. With its isometric view it looks and plays like a typical 16 bit football game. The player has full movement control over his players in eight different directions. Double tapping a direction key results in a short speed burst for the player. Once in possession of the ball the player can pass it to another player or, when close enough to goal, attempt to score. It's also possible to do crosses, clearances or long passes all depending on where on the pitch the player with the ball is. When the opposition manage to steal the ball the player can to a sliding tackle to take it back.
A number of game modes exist. The player might choose to just play a random quick match with predefined settings, a friendly with his favourite team or to take part in the Actua Cup. The Actua Cup is a 32-team tournament of national teams which starts with groups of four teams in each and then moves on to the knockout stages. It's also possible to do a penalty shootout, in case the rest of the game isn't interesting enough. Before starting a match or a cup the player can customize the play experience by changing difficulty and duration, whether injuries and fouls should be enabled and choose to play with extra time or golden goal. Before a game it is also possible to edit the squad, choose formation and tactics as well as choosing a strip for the team.
The game features 32 teams in total, all national teams from all over the world. The game does not use any licenses and therefore all the players are made up. The names can however be changed to whatever the player wants them to be.

Trivia
Player Names
Since the game doesn't feature any real players, the developers took the chance to put themselves in the game. This can especially be seen in the England squad which is full of Tuna employees. This can be seen in the screenshots section.
